Biographies are due July 15th

The booklet that Holly is updating will be given out at the reunion and is an update of what has been done in the past. It has birthdates of pretty much every single person born in our family as of 1999 (the last reunion). It contains sections for each of Harry and Jane’s children (“the siblings”). For each of these children/siblings is a short biography. The biographies end there. The siblings are now in their 80’s and 90’s. These need to be updated and are the responsibility of the liaisons.

As well, the children of the siblings should have biographies. These are “the grandchildren” of Harry and Jane and are now in their 60’s and 70’s. So we need a paragraph or two about each of Bill’s kids, Henry’s kids, Raymond’s kids etc.

***any further than this is welcomed. My father was one of the “grandkids” and I am submitting two paragraphs about my own family and even a blurb for each of my two sons.
***don’t worry about providing detail. Just an update on where people are and what they are doing is all we need.
***do provide your liaison with birth dates for everyone (at the very least). If you want to write bio’s (eg. for your family members who are in their 20’s) feel free to do that.
***send your bios and/or birthdates to your liaison *by July 15th* (they will send them to Holly).
***if you’d like to add a photo to your family bios (any or multiple generations) in the booklet, please feel free to send them to your liaisons and they will pass them on to Holly. You can send a cell phone picture of a photo if you like, as long as it’s not blurry. Please identify each family member (from back to front, left to right) and Holly will put their names under the photo.

These do not need to be complete until the reunion.  See below for a diagram of how we will be arranging these posters on the wall at the hall. Each family gets a poster but there are only THREE levels 1) Harry and Jane, 2) Harry and Jane’s children (the siblings) and 3) the siblings’ children (the grandchildren). The posters end at “the grandchildren.” Each poster just needs a photo or two of each family member. Nothing fancy, just ask yourself “what would I find interesting when looking at these posters?” A few wedding photos and some randoms of the entire clan is all that’s needed. Gather up a few photos of everyone (past and present if possible) and boom, you’re done.
***you may need to send your poster with another family member if you are not coming or if you are not coming right away (they will put on the wall as people arrive with them).

The website is a work in progress and provides information for those who are not on facebook.  EVENTUALLY, those who want their bios put here can put them here (pages are password-protected). That’s the goal but it will not likely happen for some time as I am too busy for this this summer. I’m working on a system that everyone can use to add their bios here and add photos. These bios are more detailed (for record’s sake) than those for the reunion booklet and can have photos. Don’t worry about the website or submitting anything here – it has little to do with the reunion.
